About

A holding company built around discipline.

Kestrel-Works is a Los Angeles holding company building professional product brands grounded in craft, governance, and supplier diversity.

The Thesis

Three disciplines, held together

Kestrel-Works was founded in 2026 by Saurabh Sharma and Reena Sharma. We build professional product brands grounded in three disciplines: craft, governance, and supplier diversity.

Craft means the products we put our name on must perform at the highest level of their category.

Governance means the operating systems behind our brands must be defensible to investors, auditors, and procurement officers.

Supplier diversity means we build companies that meaningfully participate in the federal small-business and corporate diversity ecosystems — not as a marketing layer, but as a structural commitment.

Why this combination

Three together is rare

Most professional product categories are dominated by century-old incumbents that hold one or two of these advantages, but rarely all three. Premium incumbents often lack diversity certification. Diversity-certified suppliers often lack premium product credibility. Few combine both with the governance maturity that institutional buyers expect.

Kestrel-Works seeks to be the company that combines all three — and that is the playbook every brand we build will follow.

Leadership

Saurabh Sharma

Founder

Fifteen years leading enterprise systems transformations at large technology and professional-services organizations, with a focus on supplier governance, internal controls, and audit-defensible operating models.

Background in Workday ERP implementations, integration architecture, and post-go-live governance. Brings the rare combination of technical fluency, control discipline, and executive communication to early-stage operating leadership.

Reena Sharma

Co-Founder · Managing Principal, Operations

Together, the founding team brings the governance discipline and operating leadership that federal procurement and B2B distribution channels demand.

Position

What we do not seek to be

Kestrel-Works does not seek to be the largest holding company in any one category. We seek to be the most disciplined — the company that can credibly compete on quality, supplier diversity, and governance against incumbents that have one or two of those advantages, but rarely all three.

Every brand we build will reflect those three disciplines.
